"It feels like sunshine at the end of a long, dark tunnel." ☀️🏡 At our 2nd Annual "Opening Doors to Affordable Housing" Benefit Concert, Homeownership Navigators Program participant Jada Howard shared her story, and it was the heart of the evening. 💛

Jada told us how she first ignored the calls from her navigator, Kim Armstrong, who never gave up on her. Kim became so much more than a guide; she's been a mentor, a source of encouragement, and, according to Jada, "someone who believes in me enough to remind me that we have work to do."

Jada knows homeownership won't happen overnight, but with the knowledge, support, and accountability she's found through the program, every step is bringing her closer to her goal.

This is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you to every sponsor, attendee, and supporter who helped make the evening possible. Because of you, the CAAR Foundation's Homeownership Navigators Program can keep helping neighbors like Jada make the dream of homeownership feel possible. 🙌

Proceeds benefit our Homeownership Navigators Program, empowering lower-income families with the guidance and resources they need to achieve the dream of first-time homeownership.
