Welcome to the V.L. Murray PTO page. A source of information on events, programs and activities at V.L. Murray. The V.L.

Murray PTO is the organization in which parents, in conjunction with teachers and staff, aim to supplement the academic experience for the students at V.L. Murray.

The PTO offers support in different ways. One of the areas in which we have the most impact is inside the classroom. Members of the Murray Community contribute numerous hours working closely with the teachers, offering encouragement as the children complete academic tasks, participating in field trips and celebrating achievements. Another important aspect of the PTO is the ability to raise funds to provide materials and enrichment opportunities that would not otherwise be provided by the school budget. In the past, our community has contributed financially to purchase new technology, art supplies, musical instruments, equipment for physical education and to build the outdoor track. The PTO holds monthly meetings in which we discuss ideas to better serve our school. Please attend to learn about school budget, curriculum development and other happenings within the public school system.

💚🐴 MURRAY PTO NEEDS YOU! 🐴💚

Do you enjoy social media, sharing school happenings, or helping your school community stay connected? Have you ever wanted to learn how to use Meta Business Suite?

We’re looking for a Murray parent/guardian volunteer to take the lead on the Murray PTO social media this school year! 📱✨

You don’t need to be a social media expert - just someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and wants to help keep our Murray families connected to all the wonderful things happening at school.

I’m also happy to help with the transition and meet up to make sure our new social media volunteer is comfortable using the software.

**Interested in helping with social media?** DM me (Steph Daintree).

💚🐴 Looking for other ways to help?

The PTO has several other volunteer opportunities available this year! Whether you have a lot of time or just a little!

Thank you to all of our amazing Murray families who help make our school community so special! 🐴💚
