My name’s Kaelan and I am the Co-Founder and Executive Director of CivicsEDU. I created this organization because I believe that the best antidote to an eroding democracy is the education of its people. It's Tatiyana, tell her Hi! I joined CivicsEDU because I genuinely enjoy being part of work that amplifies community voices and contributes to something bigger than myself. I value having a shared purpose and being surrounded by people who are committed to creating change together. For me, there’s something really meaningful about using my time and energy to support stronger democratic participation, especially through collaboration and collective action that centers the people and communities who are too often left out of the conversation. CivicsEDU feels like a natural fit for those values and a meaningful way to contribute beyond my day-to-day work.
