Training immune cells to find cancer -->

Researchers are testing a new type of treatment that “guides” immune cells directly to cancer cells.

One example is Tebentafusp, which:

- Directs T-cells to attack cancer cells more precisely
- Is already approved for another rare cancer
- Is now being tested in CCS clinical trials

👉 What this means: Instead of broadly stimulating the immune system, this therapy helps immune cells find the tumor more directly.

Clear cell sarcoma (CCS) behaves differently from many other cancers when it comes to treatment.

⭐️ CCS is generally resistant to conventional chemotherapy, and standard cytotoxic regimens have not been shown to significantly improve survival.

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) recognizes CCS as a subtype with limited responsiveness to chemotherapy.

This highlights an urgent need for new and more effective treatment approaches.

A groundbreaking study has identified a promising potential therapy for Clear Cell Sarcoma. Research shows that the combination of devimistat and hydroxychloroquine may slow, and potentially stop, CCS growth and spread.

Building on this scientific momentum, our clinical trial (NCT04593758) has successfully and safely completed Phase 1. The results bring real hope to our community and lay the groundwork for the next critical step.

We are now preparing to launch Phase 2, which will expand eligibility to include adolescents as young as 12. For many families, this represents more than progress, it represents possibility.

However, we face an urgent and time-sensitive challenge. We must raise $230,000 to purchase the drug supply needed for Phase 2 before the pharmaceutical company restructures and shelves the drug. If we miss this window, this promising research could stall, delaying potential treatment advancements for years.

This is a pivotal moment for the Clear Cell Sarcoma community. With immediate support, we can secure the drug, move the trial forward, and continue advancing toward meaningful treatment options.
