Happy Friday! PTO's Direct Giving campaign concludes tomorrow! Your donation helps fund the following exciting projects and activities:

**Whole School: A climbing rock wall is at the top of our list for our new multi-purpose room. (Bonus! CCSD is providing $2,000 towards the climbing wall to support our direct giving.)

Teacher/Team Wish Lists:
**Primary: New rug holders for the classrooms and an impressive Community Playthings outdoor playhouse and furniture to add to the new outdoor play area

**Lower Elementary: Ozobots and new tech carts to support interactive learning

**Upper Elementary: Ozobots for classrooms, a boat-making experience, and field trips to broaden educational horizons

**Adolescents: New library books for young adult research, Fall and Spring field trips to enhance real-world learning opportunities

**Staff Support & Appreciation: We will provide our teachers with a stocked coffee bar, cater special events for the school staff, and offer treats during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week to express our gratitude for their hard work and dedication.

**Special Activities: To add an element of fun and excitement to our school year, PTO supports special events including the Sweetheart and Winter Balls, family bingo night, field day, color run, Kona Ice, bridging ceremonies, and the much-anticipated end-of-year waterslide party.

**Field Trips: PTO offsets the cost of field trips for families that are in a position to need support. We support our school in covering the cost of staff chaperones to attend our incredible overnight field trips to Camp St. Christopher (UE) and Rock Eagle (AD).

STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK: We look forward to celebrating our staff all week!

Here's what your child can do each day:

Monday: Bring a flower for their teacher (a single flower is fine!)
Tuesday: A handwritten note or poem for their teacher/assistant is a joy to receive.
Wednesday: Donate a snack to restock the classroom, a box of tissues, or some cleaning wipes.
Thursday: Wear their spirit shirts to show our love for MLMS staff!
Friday: Tell all their teachers and TAs "THANK YOU!!"
