Our Board Members do so much more than support strategic planning and crunch the numbers, they pour their hearts into the true purpose behind why we’re here. ❤️

Last week, Board Members Megan and Genna had the opportunity to deliver meals to several of our clients, experiencing firsthand the lives we touch through food and the meaningful impact their service has on our community.

We’re so grateful for the time, heart, and dedication they give to further our mission and support the people we serve.

As we ramp up meal production for our community members, our equipment needs keep growing too. The support we receive makes such a difference.

GIVE A LOT O' GELATO! 🍨

9 months ago, our volunteer Steve came to us with an idea: make his own vegan gelato and sorbet, sell it in our Grab & Grow shop, and donate every penny to our mission.

100 pints later, Steve has blossomed into a true gelato connoisseur, with several flavors under his belt and a fan-favorite spot in our shop!

If AMOR were a school, Steve would definitely be an A student. 🎓

☀️💚 As Summer comes to a close, we want to give thanks for our friends over at The Green Heart Project! We were lucky enough to be part of their Youth Internship Program, and we are so grateful! We shared knowledge, shared laughs and grew a little bit more together. We hope this is just the beginning of empowering the youth and contributing to our community together!

As the Content & Partnerships Director at Twelve South, he has spent more than a decade shaping award-winning Apple products and storytelling that have reached audiences around the world.

Beyond his professional career, Jai is the creator of Jai Eats, where he celebrates the people, places, and stories that make the culinary world so special. His work has been featured in Food & Wine, Garden & Gun, The Infatuation, Eater, and more, reflecting his deep appreciation for the power of food to build connection and community.

It's the last week for our spring semester Teen Chef program! We had a double mother-daughter volunteer duo join us this round and we loved the energy of them volunteering together 🤗 And they spoiled us for their last shift by bringing us the sweetest card and a big ol tub of delicious home-made guacamole 😋🥑
In case you didn't know, our love language is food 💓💓💓
