What an incredibly purposeful week with the Sankofa Fellowship in collaboration with , , and .💚💚💚
Seven exceptional young adults from across the country spent the week immersed in service-learning, exploring Gullah history, traditions, and West African foodways. Under the guidance of our Chefs Mimi and Becca and talented chefs Gabby and
Wibi, they transformed that knowledge into a special menu prepared with care and purpose for our clients utilizing seasonal produce from Joseph Fields Farms.
The week culminated with the fellows joining us in delivering meals to some of our beloved clients—an experience that brought the power of community, culture, and service full circle.
Wallace, Amirah, Amaiya, Otis, Autumn, Takaria, and Kyla—you will always have a place in our kitchen. The future is bright with inspired minds and open hearts like yours.
A special shout-out to Dr. Knight and the International African American Museum for bringing this opportunity to life and helping cultivate the next generation of leaders, changemakers, and culture bearers. We are grateful to have been part of this journey.
✨ Community. Culture. Service. Legacy. ✨
