Another great day at the field, this time with our Alpha Academy 12U and Alpha Academy 14U teams from the Princeton area.

Coach Zach led both groups through a workout designed to evaluate where each team currently stands and identify areas where we can help them grow and improve. Joining him were nine of our veteran players from our 12U, 13U, and 14U Charleston-area teams. Many of these same girls spent yesterday helping with our clinic and were right back at the field today, giving their time and knowledge to another group of young athletes.

The amount of leadership, effort, and positive feedback shared throughout the day was incredible. There was a lot of hard work put in, plenty of teaching moments, and noticeable progress made from start to finish.

Both of these teams will begin at the C level and continue working toward their goal of moving up the ranks. We are excited to invest in these groups and watch their growth translate onto the field throughout the season.

We appreciate all of the families who made the trip, and we especially appreciate our older athletes who showed up to help Coach Zach with something that is extremely important to him—developing the next generation of Alpha players and leaders.

The future is bright in Princeton.

🥎 What an incredible day for Alpha Academy!

We are beyond grateful for the overwhelming support of our youth clinics. With two sold-out clinics this year, we’ve been blown away by the response and are already working to schedule more opportunities soon!

Thank you to every player, parent, and family who spent part of your Saturday with us. We saw so much talent, hustle, and passion from these young athletes ages 7-12, and the future of softball is definitely bright.

A special shoutout goes to our older girls representing three Alpha teams and traveling from three states. These young women actually outnumbered our sold-out clinic participants today and never once hesitated to give their time, energy, and encouragement. They spent the day mentoring, demonstrating, coaching, and helping every athlete who walked through the gates.

Many of these girls attended clinics just like this years ago. They came for the reps, but they stayed for the culture. Today, they paid it forward in a big way, and we couldn’t be prouder of the leaders they’ve become.

This is what Alpha is all about: developing athletes, building confidence, and creating a culture where players lift each other up. 🩵

Thank you all for making today so special. We can’t wait to do it again!

Congratulations to Alpha Academy 12U - Hylton for coming home champs at the Bring the Heat tournament.

The girls traveled to Bridgeport this weekend to play in the 12U open class at Bring the Heat at Bridgeport Sports Complex. They dominated the weekend scoring 61 runs and only allowing a single run the entire tournament.

They have a short week and will travel to Cedar Point to play in the annual Coaster Classic tournament at Sports Force Park. Great weekend girls! We are proud of you!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve officially announced the addition of two brand new teams for this fall:

Alpha Academy 7U – Shafer
Alpha Academy 8U – Anderson

As a rule, we do not hold tryouts for existing teams until August so we can focus on our current rosters and give those players the attention they deserve. However, because these are brand new teams, we’ll be offering Alpha Interest Nights this summer!

This is a great opportunity to:
✅ Meet our new coaches
✅ Learn more about our organization
✅ Get an early jump on evaluations with our staff

📍 South Charleston High School
📅 June 21st & July 12th
⏰ 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Our program has a proven track record of developing young athletes both on and off the field and our 8U teams have consistently been the best in the area. We fully expect that success to continue with two outstanding coaches ready to lead the next generation of Alpha athletes.

From all of us at Alpha Academy, thank you to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Your courage and legacy will never be forgotten.
