🏆🎉 WE DID IT, EDISTO DISTRICT! 🎉🏆

To God be the glory! Congratulations to the Edisto District on receiving the award for the Highest Number of Registrants at the 2026 Summer Summit! What an incredible testament to our commitment, unity, and dedication to Kingdom work.

This achievement was made possible because of every pastor, church, lay member, missionary, steward, trustee, YPD member, and supporter who answered the call and showed up. Your faithfulness, sacrifice, and willingness to serve did not go unnoticed.

A special thank you to our Presiding Elder, Rev.Kenneth Taylor, for your visionary leadership and unwavering encouragement. Together, we continue to prove that when we are united in faith and service, there is no limit to what God can do!

2 Corinthians 5:1 "For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Brother John Simon Singleton, the first Lay President of St James AME Church, Johns Island the who transitioned July 9, 2026.

Please keep the St James AME Church and the family of Brother Singleton in your prayers and thoughts as they go through this period of bereavement and loss.
