Today, we gather in community to honor, grieve, and remember our relatives who have been lost or taken from us too soon. When a Native person goes missing or is murdered, it is not just a loss of life. It is a loss of culture, wisdom, ancestral knowledge, and the irreplaceable contributions they bring to their community. Today and always, we speak for the silenced and uplift the families affected by this crisis. The Alpha Chapter of Alpha Pi Omega Sorority, Inc. remains committed to ending violence against our women, our families, and our communities. We urge you to do the same.

With graduation approaching, we’d like to take a moment to recognize the incredible women in our chapter who are graduating. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to each and every one of them, but the love they poured into this chapter has left a lasting mark. Their time here may be coming to an end, but we will always remember the laughs and smiles we shared together. We wish each of them the best as they move forward in their lives.
