As spooky season comes to a head, we must remember that costumes are meant to represent characters, not mock culture. Before you dress up, ask yourself: Am I celebrating or stereotyping?

Our culture is not your costume.

Come see us in the Pit tomorrow from 11 AM-1 PM as we highlight this important reminder that our culture is not your costume.

There’s nothing like celebrating sweater weather with your sisters ❤️💚💛

This weekend, we welcomed fall in the best way at the Apple Fest

We got to hold some cute and cuddly animals. The bunnies were our favorite (when we weren’t terrified they’d bite us).

The goats were some sweethearts!! The pig next to him on the other hand, was not.

We did so many fun rides!! The bugs followed us all around, much to Laney’s dismay.

We couldn’t help but do a photo shoot while waiting in line ❤️

The slide and swings were soo fun, a lot of us had to do them twice.

We LOVE to see Queen Bees channeling their Queen energy

The flowers were so pretty none of us could resist buying some.

The bees were having so much fun spending the day with us 😍😍

Today, we recognize Orange Shirt Day and honor those forever impacted by residential schools. We honor the children who never made it home, the survivors, families, and communities who are still healing. We cannot stress enough the importance of acknowledging the past, learning from it and growing from it. Remember that Every Child Matters. 🧡
