As EMPOWERment, Inc. prepares to celebrate 30 Years of Impact this September, we are honored to recognize Mediterranean Deli, Bakery & Catering ( ) and owner Jamil Kadoura for their extraordinary generosity and partnership.

Jamil has graciously donated The Story Venue as the host location for our 30th Anniversary Celebration, providing a beautiful space for us to gather, celebrate, and reflect on three decades of community impact. In addition to sponsoring the venue, Mediterranean Deli will also serve as a Culinary Contributor, helping provide food for this special evening.

Community partnerships like this help make our work possible and allow us to continue advancing affordable housing, grassroots economic development, and community organizing throughout our region.

Several EMPOWERment Incorporated tenants were devastatingly impacted by the Hillmont Apartments fire, and we’re coming together to help families begin rebuilding after this devastating loss.

We are currently accepting:

❤️ Gift cards
🖤 Monetary donations

Funds donated will directly support the Hillmont Uplift Fund and provide assistance to impacted residents.
