If you’ve been thinking about writing a poem inspired by this year’s theme, Harmony, now is the time to put pen to paper and share your voice.

Did you know beavers have orange teeth? Or that they can hold their breath underwater for up to 15 minutes? Or that they are vegetarians?

Join nature educator Amy Kochem on Tuesday, June 23, at 7 p.m. for a fascinating walk through CPF's Willow Patch and discover how North America's largest rodent transforms entire ecosystems.

We'll explore active beaver habitat and learn how these incredible "engineers" build dams, create wetlands, improve water quality, and provide homes for countless other wildlife species.

Spend part of Father's Day weekend outdoors at Fenner Conservation Pond learning to fish or fly fish with CPF, Madison County Trout Unlimited Chapter 680 and the Shane Pinard Future Fishermen's Foundation.

This year’s theme is Harmony, and poets of all ages are encouraged to participate. Whether you’re inspired by nature, community, music, or the balance found in everyday life, we want to hear your voice.

• Grades 1–4
• Grades 5–8
• Grades 9–12
• Adults

Selected poems will be featured as part of our Poetry on the Trail exhibit along the Gorge Trail this fall.
