Shotgun start at 10:15 am

🌡️ 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳?

With warmer temperatures expected early this week, New York State has launched its updated 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 to help residents locate nearby places to get relief from the heat.

The updated finder is more user-friendly, especially on mobile devices, and can help you find cooling center locations throughout New York State.

During hot weather, remember to drink plenty of water, stay in air conditioning when possible, limit strenuous outdoor activity, and check on children, older adults, neighbors, and pets.

• Free to Madison County residents – however a $7 dollar donation per pet is appreciated
• Out of County pet owners are limited to four (4) pets per household

• Proof of prior vaccination is required to qualify for a 3-year certificate.
• A vehicle is not required to participate.
