Today is the LAST DAY - Fair Entry-Project Registration

Projects must be registered in Fair Entry by May 31st to show in the fair. If you decide to drop a project after you have registered for it, please let Madeline ([email protected]) know as soon as possible. Refer to Madeline's May 13th email for detailed instructions.

Calling all Hancock County 4-H livestock exhibitors age 14 (by 9/1/25) and up! You're running out of time to submit your self-nomination for the Dannen Latherow Livestock Merit Award.

This award is in memory of Dannen Latherow, an eight-year member of the Fountain Green 4-H club and enthusiastic livestock exhibitor. The award was initiated by the Hancock County Farm Bureau in 2000. It recognizes a livestock exhibitor who demonstrates mentorship, good sportsmanship and active involvement in the livestock industry.

Fair Entry-Project Registration

Projects must be registered in Fair Entry by May 31st to show in the fair. If you decide to drop a project after you have registered for it, please let Madeline ([email protected]) know as soon as possible. Refer to Madeline's May 13th email for detailed instructions.

Madeline will have open office hours in Carthage on May 28 and 29 from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM for any families who would like assistance with Fair Entry. You can also schedule a phone call outside of those dates/times if needed.
Keep in mind the deadline, May 31st, is a Sunday, so get this done early in case you have questions!

ATTENTION: Projects must be registered in Fair Entry by May 31 to show in the fair. If you decide to drop a project after you have registered for it, please let Madeline know as soon as possible.

If you have multiple members to register, please pay close attention to the instruction sheet before clicking "Submit". You won't be able to add/edit after submission until Madeline opens your account back up.

In honor of the 250th birthday of the USA, and in celebration of 4-H in Hancock County, Federation will once again be offering these sharp Hatz by Hitz hats for pre-order. We have more color options this year and we're excited to give people the opportunity to show off their pride in our country and our 4-H program. Hats are $30 each and will be available for pick up beginning July 1st (or you can pick up at the 4-H fair). We will also have a few limited style options available for purchase at the fair.
