This past weekend we received a phone call that a sweet girl Claire from Macomb Middle School had worked with her mom to set up a pink night for their home basketball game tonight (in just 2 short weeks!). They had ordered shirts through Jami at J&J Designs in Macomb and she had spoke to them about donating a portion of her profits to us from their shirts. We visited Jami back in 2019 when she was doing treatments in Iowa. We made the trip over to Macomb this evening to pick up their donation as well as get a few signatures and take some pictures. Thank you Claire (and her mom Marlena) for including us in your night! We look forward to next year! 🩷

This past Friday we went to Quincy to Uncle Bob’s Bar for their 20th Annual Save the Bo***es event. We made some new friends and got some signatures of those fighting or in memory/honor of a loved one. 🩷

Yesterday we took Darla to visit our friend Johnna at work Memorial Med Spa with the help of Carthage Fire Dept. Carthage,IL and her family, friends and coworkers. Johnna recently completed her cancer treatment for Marginal Zone Lymphoma of her stomach. Thank you to Jerilyn Miller at The Flower Shop and North Side Java for helping us present her with some beautiful flowers and gifts.
