Join us TONIGHT, Monday, August 17 from 6-8pm at Metta Farm () in Woodinville for a farm tour and potluck! As usual, please bring a dish to share if you are able. Farmers, friends, family and community are welcome!

Metta Farm is a solo, woman-owned quarter-acre farm in Woodinville, Washington, specializing in the cultivation of Asian heritage vegetables and herbs. Metta is a Pali (ancient Indian) word meaning loving-kindness, which serves as the farm's core value and guides how every living being is treated on the farm.

Beyond providing fresh, nutrient-dense produce to the community, Metta Farm is dedicated to growing unique, culturally relevant crops while educating the community about these vegetables and sustainable farming practices.

Address: 16215 140th Pl NE, Woodinville, WA 98072. Once you turn into the driveway and pass through the metal gate with the "Viva Farms" sign, continue down the driveway until you see a building on your left with multiple garage doors, a red roof, and green murals. You may park along the grassy area on your left after you pass the building.

Join us TONIGHT, Thursday, August 13 from 6-8pm at SVT’s Experience Farming Project (EFP)! Farmers will showcase their individual farms and we’ll gather for a potluck. Farmers, friends, family and community are welcome!

The Experience Farming Project is SnoValley Tilth's farm incubator program. This property is home to 14 farms for the 2026 growing season. Farmers lease between 1/4 acre and 1 acre on this shared site where aspiring growers have the opportunity to test out whether farming is a viable career path for them. The EFP has a shared greenhouse, wash station, and walk-in cooler as well as many shared tools which eliminate the upfront cost barriers to starting a farm.

Address: 1550 W Snoqualmie River Rd NE, Carnation, WA 98024. Note: please make sure to close the gate behind you and drive extremely slowly, 5mph, up the driveway.

Many thanks to Charlie at Rain Dog Farm for the great tour! It was amazing to see how much food one person can produce in a small space. Thanks also to everyone who made it out.
