The Monterey Bay Chapter of the California Native Plant Society ("MBCNPS") was founded in 1966 to serve Monterey and San Benito counties. The purpose of our chapter is to further the preservation and conservation of the native flora and plant communities of Monterey and San Benito counties. Our goal is to increase understanding, appreciation, enjoyment, and preservation of California native plants

in their natural habitats through scientific activities, education, conservation, horticulture and stewardship.

It's a great year for wildflowers! This Wednesday March 11, at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History. Brian LeNeve will be sharing decades worth of wildflower photos from his Ranch in South County in a primer for the Spring Wildflower Show on the weekend of April 18 and 19 in Carmel. Doors open at 6:30, presentation starts at 7.
