It’s a beautiful day in Carmel! Come see A Light Exists in Spring ( got to see her image in the gallery at last). All the works by our fantastic volunteers and trustees are for sale, so what better way to celebrate the end of the season than to bring one home! We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 CPA Artist Grants!

This year’s selection committee looked at hundreds of compelling applications for the 2026 CPA Artist Grants. After much consideration, the committee decided to give grants and awards to 8 artists, including a new grant just for Monterey County Residents. We are honored and excited to be able to support multiple artists again this year. Link in bio.

Melanie Walker is a legend! Fantastic and fun opening of her show “Nomadic Dreamer” last night. The work is up through June 14 if you missed the magic yesterday. Todd Dominey is a landscape photographer whose work mainly focuses on remote, untouched regions of the American West. Environments that have evolved over millions of years, without human influence or impact. Transportive places where civilization plays no role.
