Presenting one of our talented Featured Member Photographers for the month of October, David Pompel!

David C. Pompel is an independent, self-taught photographer whose camera has been a constant companion throughout a career in the sporting goods and design industries.

His professional life has taken him around the world and brought him into relationships with athletes, designers, mountaineers, artists and people from widely different cultures. Along the way, he worked with numerous commercial photographers and found an important mentor in noted Western photographer David Stoecklein. Each of these experiences contributed to his understanding of observation, the craft of photography and the creative process. Learn more....
