501c3 non-profit Foundation that offers short term assistance to Horses in need.. About Becky: Becky was born April 1, 1982 and grew up in Bow, NH.

She graduated from Bow High School in 2000, and then attended the University of New Hampshire graduating with Honors and a degree in Anthropology in 2004. At age eleven, Becky started showing horses under the tutelage of Deedee Ludlam of Bear Brook Stables in Allenstown. She owned a special Morgan mare named Gradell's Delight. Becky and Daisy showed all over New England, most frequently at Deerfie

ld Fairgrounds. They competed in Junior Exhibitor Hack and Morgan Pleasure Junior to Ride classes and were named champion many times. At UNH, Becky found her second love, archeology, and attended dig sites in Belize, Bolivia, and Guatemala. She was awarded a full scholarship to complete her Doctorate at the University of California at Riverside, a leading school in archeology. Two special horses whose presence brought joy to their owners for many years. Two clients joined in grief by their recent losses.

They arrived together at Tack Room For Becky's Gift laden with donations. Wanting to give back; wanting a meaningful tribute to their beloved partners.

Donations commemorating loss are the hardest. We feel the pain the moment the person walks through our door. We hold it in our hearts, deeply honored to be the recipient of these gifts.

The last thing handed to me was a halter. “You’ll love this! It’s brand new!” Then, a shadow of sadness as she gazes at it, “I had just got it for him. He never had a chance to wear it.”

I haven’t put the halter in the tack shop yet. I don’t know why. Oddly, I feel like, out of respect, it needs more time.

Jazz and Karma, we raise our glasses to you. The horses helped in your memory will be forever grateful.

It’s a wrap! BIG SALE 2026. Our volunteer team of Linda Barnes, Kathy Lang, Laura Messer and Anna Henry kept things flowing. With shoppers from far 'n wide, and folks who donated amazing stuff, over $3000 was raised to help horses in need.

You all are part of Becky’s Gift. We’re joined by a shared passion for the welfare of our equine partners. We each contribute in our own ways. The result? A special community we’re so blessed to be a part of. Thank you. ❤

BIG SALE at Tack Room For Becky's Gift Sat. 8/22, 9-1. Check pics for discounts. As a bonus, Andover’s Town Wide Yard Sale is that day, so there will be LOTS of opportunities to shop!

**What you’ll need: calculator, pen and paper. You create your own receipt of purchases as you shop. Hand us the slip with your total, pay (cash, check, charge), and you’re done!**

Also needed: sense of humor and patience. We’re a little shop; it can be cozy with lots of folks😉. Please share- we'll see you there!

With signs of pain and no answers in sight, he quickly deteriorated. Many vet visits later, a CT scan was the next step. But funds were depleted. “We've reached a point with all this where we're struggling to move forward financially.”

We planned to assist. But the request was then retracted. This, as surgery would be the likely outcome from the CT scan.

Client, “Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be able to proceed. Euthanasia may be our best option. It would be irresponsible taking your funding, knowing we can't afford the surgery.”

Becky’s Gift, “We’re happy to assist with the CT scan if you decide to move forward. It may allow you to make more informed decisions re: the future. We would NEVER feel its money wasted, no matter the outcome. We could review with you possible further assistance for tx depending upon the findings.

That said, your pony and your family have been through a lot on this difficult journey. As you weigh the bigger picture, you may feel euthanasia sooner rather than later is the best action to take. Please know we fully support whatever decision you make.”

He had the scan. The news was not good. Surgery was out as he’s very high-risk. Now that they know what they’re dealing with, his family and vet will work closely together to provide comfort care. He’ll live his remaining days surrounded by love, until symptoms reemerge.
