It doesn't seem right to be in a world without Dolly Parton. This paper doll by David Wolfe is bittersweet in so many ways. David created it for the 2015 Chattanooga Convention we hosted together, giving Dolly costumes from roles “she should have played.” This is a tears-down-the-face day. Rest in peace, dear Dolly.

Hello Region 15 Chapter Presidents,

The Shaker Doll Club in Albany New York is having a Doll Show on September 26th, form 10:00 - 3:00. All the details are part of the message below. The Doll Study Club of Boston is planning a bus trip to the show and members of clubs in our region are invited to join them! The bus can hold 50 people and has restroom facilities.

This is a one-day trip. The bus will depart the Hilton Garden Inn in Waltham with a stop in the Sturbridge area. The cost for non-DSCB members is $40.00. That includes transportation to and from the show. Payment to enter the show will be paid at the door. Deadline to register for the bus is September 10th. Details for the bus trip are attached.

A reminder that at the event next Saturday we voted to do table favors. There will be 6 per table. The theme is International Doll Day day, so anything doll-related will be appropriate.
