🚨 URGENT: REMBRANDT NEEDS YOUR HELP 🚨
Today, we discovered that Rembrandt's leg had swollen to nearly three times its normal size, and he was unable to put weight on it.
We immediately called Fenton River Veterinary Hospital for an emergency visit.
The diagnosis was severe cellulitis, a painful bacterial infection that can quickly become serious without prompt treatment. To make matters even more concerning, Rembrandt's temperature reached 104.3°, showing just how hard his body is fighting this infection.
He is now receiving medications and intensive care, but emergency veterinary treatment is expensive, and this was a cost we never planned for.
When emergencies happen, we don't have the luxury of waiting. We say yes to the care our animals need and figure out the rest later.
