The Nobody's Cats Foundation Dedicated to Trap Neuter Return (TNR), serving 15 counties in south central PA with various resources

Our strategies include creating a culture of ownership of free-roaming cat colonies, encouraging owner caretakers to implement bench marked TNR standards of care, and providing a high volume of spay/neuter surgeries
through a dedicated surgery clinic for free-roaming cats.

So, you wanna get a big cheeked handsome boy in a trap but don't know where to start? Does the idea of trapping a feral cat terrify you? Do you have that one pesky cat that you haven't been able to trap yet and you just don't know how to get them? 🤔 If you answered 'Yes' to any of these questions, we think coming to our TNR clinic is the right move.

Our friends South Middleton Community Cats and we are putting together a TNR seminar on Sunday, November 8th from 1pm-3pm. We'd love for you to join us and learn a bit about TNR, effective trapping, recovery, ALL THE THINGS 🥳

Today we want to talk about pregnancy spays and why they matter 🫶

When a feral female is in our care, we need to make the best decisions for her, our patient. A community cat having a litter is often unsafe. Pregnancy and delivery put heavy stress on a cat's body. When kittens are born, there is a risk associated with the safety of mom and babies. Often, the more litters a mom has had, the more risk the new kittens have.

Keeping a feral mom inside for as long as kittens need is uncomfortable and potentially dangerous to both you and mom. And that's under the assumption the caretaker even has capacity to set them up appropriately. Finding safe placement for these scenarios are near impossible.

The cat overpopulation crisis is very real. We believe in doing our part to help reduce the overpopulation by performing TNR. This is the safest, most humane option for community cats. It would go against our mission of reducing the overpopulation by not spaying a pregnant female.

We know these conversations are often uncomfortable to have, but they're important ones. Our priority will always be serving the community cats. The bottom line is to spay mom - it's the kindest, healthiest option for her ❤️

IN TWO WEEKS we will be joining the fine folks at The Nobody's Cats Foundation to deliver a TNR Basics course for those of you who have wondered how to help yourselves, your neighbors, or those community cats you see everyday when you drive to work.

Become part of the solution! We will break down the process easily, and allow time for discussion and questions. A short break including Kitty Town Coffee will allow you to shop the store looking for pre-Christmas goodies!

We would love it if you'd do us the favor of registering - it's quick and allows us to get an accurate headcount for materials. Plus, it's FREE. https://forms.gle/8pAKFfMwSGTi3Gkt9

We really love our community ❤️ One of the colony caretakers we've assisted fixing some kittens for gave us a little bouquet 💐🥹 You have no idea how much these small gestures really mean.

We're going into the week feeling refreshed and thankful we can continue helping the kitties 🥰

Let's have a Sunday Funday... Caption this 🤭This was one of our clients from yesterday post-op 🧡 He is now neutered!
