For months we have been wanting to get a 15 passenger commuter bus or van. We are constantly having to leave kids out as we can only fit four in our cars. A few weeks ago, I had a mentee pleading with me to let him ride in the trunk so the other mentee could come (for the record, I didn’t do it). Earlier this week one of the mentees that couldn’t fit paid someone to drive her so she could be here. Out of the blue, I get a call asking if they could donate a van to Rising Above Daily. It’s not the 15 passenger, but it will allow us to have an extra two kids. We will be using it tomorrow to pick up six kids. So grateful. Thank you, Aaron for your generosity!!!

🌱 YOU ARE BREAKING NEW GROUND 🌱

Just one week ago, on May 30, we officially broke ground on the covered arena at Rising Above Daily Youth Ranch!

As we watch the earth being moved and the vision begin to take shape, we're reminded that this project is about so much more than a building. It's about creating a place where young people can experience connection, mentorship, community, and hope—rain or shine, all year long.

Every shovel of dirt represents the prayers prayed, the donations given, the volunteer hours served, and the unwavering belief that our youth are worth investing in.

What once lived only in our hearts and on paper is now becoming a reality before our eyes. We are overwhelmed by God's faithfulness and grateful for every person who has walked alongside us on this journey.

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" — Isaiah 43:19

Thank you for helping us break new ground and create a future where more youth can know their worth.

Run for Life today in Washougal.

We'll be here until 3pm. Update due to the rain we are packing up. But the barbecue is going to be there open until 3:00!

There is even some tasty barbecue and a coffee cart!

🌟 Non‑Profit Spotlight: Rising Above Daily 🌟

Rising Above Daily is a free youth ranch in Camas serving kids ages 6–18 through mentorship rooted in connection, community, and confidence‑building.

Their programs pair youth with caring mentors through:
🐴 Equine mentorship — helping kids build trust, self-worth, boundaries, and courage through hands‑on experiences with horses.

🏀 Sports mentorship — small‑group sessions that strengthen teamwork, accountability, and belonging while building skills on the court.
🎸 Music/guitar sessions — giving kids a creative, confidence‑boosting outlet in a supportive setting.

Founded by Ehren & Kia Plummer, the ranch was created to give youth a safe place to find acceptance, hope, and freedom—all at no cost to families.
