We've got VFR weather forecasted for the Fly-in Event tomorrow!

We hope to see a lot of you tomorrow at the Camas Airport (1W1 - Grove Field). Everyone is invited, even if you 'drive' in instead of flying in.

Starting at 08:00, the EAA Chpt 782 will serve a Pancake breakfast. $10. Proceeds support the EAA.

Scott Price will give a talk about his RV-8 Build that won him the Reserve Grand Champion at Oshkosh 2025.

CWAA will serve up a BBQ lunch ($10) and hold a raffle with some great prizes, including a brand new Lightspeed Zulu 3 headset.

We all consider and train for what we are going to do if our engine quits, but few of us have actually experienced a true engine out situation.

Scott Aerons, is one of the few, and was fortunate to walk away from it. His plane, not so much.

Flying his Zenith 750 SD with a Viking engine, things got real quiet for Scott, and with GoPro rolling, Scott had to put it down, without a runway.

Scott will take us through the event, from realization that things arent going well and all the way to the ground.

This Wednesday at 6:00 we start our monthly meeting with a potluck, get through our association business, then invite Scott up to speak. We hope to see you there.
