WOW, Olympia Host Lions Club!!!

It is AMAZING to see The Hand Project continuing to grow and more Lions discovering just how meaningful this service experience can be!

Members of the Olympia Host Lions Club recently gathered together to assemble mechanical prosthetic hands that will eventually travel across the world and be carefully fitted to individuals who otherwise may have little or no access to prosthetic care.

Think about that for a moment.

Lions sitting around tables in Olympia, Washington, working together for a few hours—and what they created will eventually become part of someone's everyday life on another continent. 🌍

Someone will be able to grasp an object. Work more independently. Carry something. Complete everyday tasks that most of us never think twice about.

That's incredible.

Let’s rally behind District 19N’s own Debbie Mansell!

Debbie completed a 20-mile training ride this morning as she prepares for next week’s Lions ACT Tour of Joy in Poland!

Debbie will join fellow Lion cyclists from the United States and Europe for a five-day cycling tour to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics and its incredible athletes.

Together, the team has already raised more than $1,600—but let’s keep it going! Please help District 19N show Debbie how proud we are by making a donation, sharing this post and cheering her on as she rides for this wonderful cause.
