Camas Washougal Community Chest All recipients of Community Chest funding must provide services within the Camas-Washougal area.

Supporting Camas and Washougal organizations benefiting education, youth, special needs, natural resource conservation, and other charitable and civic endeavors. The Camas-Washougal Community Chest was established in 1946 when a group of concerned citizens formed to coordinate raising funds for local 501 c-3 nonprofit organizations involved with education, youth education, aiding those with special needs, natural resource conservation, health and welfare, crisis and emergency services, and other charitable and civic endeavors.

Great news — we've just received a new $1,000 matching gift from the Hinds Charitable Fund, held at the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington.

That means every dollar you donate to the Camas-Washougal Community Chest today through Thursday, September 24th, will be doubled, until this new $1,000 gift is used up.

As a reminder, we're an all-volunteer Board with no paid staff, so over 97% of donations go directly to grants for nonprofits serving Camas and Washougal each year. Every grant is thoroughly vetted, and recipients submit a year-end report showing that the funds were used appropriately. We do the due diligence, so your gift has the greatest possible impact.

Join us in person to celebrate Open Mic Night at 54°40' Brewing (3801 S Truman Rd, Washougal, WA) on Thursday, September 24th. Music starts at 6 pm and goes until about 8 pm. Several CWCC Board members will be there to celebrate Give More 24 and thank our donors. Stop by with your questions or to learn more about volunteering.
