Here are the finished "peligull" characters together with the color version of the baby T-Rex from our "Havin A-Lava Fun" float. They will all be for sale at our Craft Faire tomorrow (October 3). New location is BWP's Centennial Courtyard, 320 N Lake St. Free parking right across the street. Admission is free, too!

Here is the finished Lighthouse figurine. It will be for sale at our Craft Faire on Saturday, October 3. The event will take place at 320 N Lake St in BWP's Centennial Courtyard beginning at 10 AM.

Here is a timelapse of a set of four lighthouses being printed for our Craft Faire on Saturday. A single test print of the lighthouse took about 9 hrs to print. The set of four takes just 24.5 hrs! There is considerable time spend in swapping toolheads for color changes. When printing multiple copies, one swap is used to print the color on all models.

This timelapse shows a batch of seven of the "Peligirl" figures being printed. This set will be finished with some key chain findings to be used as purse charms. The snake-y stuff growing around the figures is support material to hold up the overhanging wings and beak while they are printed. The actual print time for the entire job was just over 25 hrs!

Thanks to a grant from Kathryn Barger's office, we now own a four toolhead color 3D printer! We plan to continue to make plastic prototypes and low stress float parts, but also to take our 3D printed souvenirs to the next level.

This is a time-lapse of printing a set of ten, five-color T-Rexes from our 2025 "Having A-Lava Fun" float. The job took sixteen hours, excluding time to replace one color with the fifth color. In case you are keeping track, there were 386 toolhead swaps during the job.
