The Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra and Hennings-Fischer Foundation are proud to present the 27th Annual Young Artist Competition, open to instrumentalists (excluding piano) and vocalists age 30 and under.

📅 Preliminary Rounds: February 25–26, 2027
🎶 Final Concert: February 27, 2027
📍 Salit Conservatory of Music, Burbank

Grand Prize winners will receive a $1,000 cash prize and the opportunity to perform with the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra in a future concert.

July 30, 1944, the Burbank Symphony Orchestra performed for the very first time at the Starlight Bowl. From those early summer nights to the music we make today, our roots run deep in this community. Here’s to honoring the past as we keep building the future of music in Burbank.

75 years ago, the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra performed at the very first concert ever held at the Starlight Bowl, helping launch what would become one of Burbank’s most beloved cultural traditions.
