July 30, 1944, the Burbank Symphony Orchestra performed for the very first time at the Starlight Bowl. From those early summer nights to the music we make today, our roots run deep in this community. Here’s to honoring the past as we keep building the future of music in Burbank.

75 years ago, the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra performed at the very first concert ever held at the Starlight Bowl, helping launch what would become one of Burbank’s most beloved cultural traditions.

We’re proud to be part of the city’s artistic legacy and grateful to the generations of musicians, supporters, and audience members who have made it possible.
