Finally was able to fix the Burbank Paranormal Research (https://www.burbankparanormal.com) site after our hosting provider ruined it by making underlying changes to the infrastructure of which we were unaware. Our web presence has officially returned and I'm going to be making updates of my own in the near future as well.

If you were affected by this in any way or were unable to view any evidence collected from your cases in our online webapp as the situation was active, I (Matthew) apologize deeply. You may always reach out to me directly for copies of your evidence in case anything goes wrong within our own systems.

Today marks the 18-year anniversary of Burbank Paranormal Research!

Today marks the 17 year anniversary of Burbank Paranormal Research!

To mark this anniversary, we have been working on several open-source projects and re-creating the systems that make up the BPR infrastructure from scratch. The hope is that we can help other teams and organizations with their IT operations by opening up our own IT architecture to allow internal code, products, knowledge, and ideas to be shared across disciplines.

Matthew Fritz (BPR Founder and Director) is a huge proponent of open-source software so this decision is only natural. We are now on GitHub (as "bprcalifornia", same as on Twitter) and we are starting off with re-working and sharing how we provision the underlying machines on our hosting environment that serve our resources to the public.

Thank you to everyone that came out to the third annual BPR Halloween Event at Woodbury University! We had a fantastic time and it was great to meet everyone. We're looking forward to next year for our fourth time!

We had a fantastic time for our second year at Woodbury University! As more and more people came into the presentation, we wound up with about 60 people. The investigation was also great fun and we have been asked back next year so we are now an annual tradition.
