Summer is a great time for your child to improve their skill set and gain confidence in whatever sports they choose to play. “With that being said” I will be bringing back our MVP basketball camps. I will be running 5 one week sessions of St. Finbar Vikings MVP basketball camp. Check out the flyer for dates. The camp is for Girls & Boys 6-14 years old. We will group the kids by age. The camps are open to students from all schools as well as home schooled students. You can register for the individual weeks. The camps will be held on campus in our air conditioned St. Albert hall (indoor gym) and we will also utilize our recently re- paved outside courts which include a small basket for the younger players. The camps will be held in the early evening 5:30 -7:30 pm. Cost is $125.00 per week and will include quality and advanced instruction in basketball fundamentals which includes: dribbling, ball - handling, shooting, post & guard play, passing, defense, rebounding, footwork and agility drills, scrimmages, shooting contests, free throw contests, prize giveaways, guest speakers & guest instructors, and more. I will be bringing in some of my ex- players and coaches from the high school and college level to help instruct. “We will help your child become a better player, and get to the next level, while they are having a blast doing it” We will also offer fun Fridays each week of camp where the campers will learn the fundamentals & play the following sports & fun games: Volleyball, 🏐Soccer, ⚽️Flag Football, 🏈Baseball/ Softball, ⚾️🥎Capture the flag, Dodge ball, Kickball, Water balloon toss, etc. The campers on Fridays will also receive pizza and can participate in a sports cards trading session if they want to.
