Can’t beat these views ‼️‼️‼️

The 2026 Lightning Leaf Peeper Regatta, captured by Lea Ann Smith Photography at Malletts Bay Boat Club, October 3-4.

15 boats (10 travelers, 5 locals) hit the starting line on Malletts Bay. The changing leaves and the Green Mountains made the perfect backdrop for two days of glorious racing.

Race Committee capitalized on a nice 8-12mph breeze on Saturday to knock out 5 races, leaving plenty of time for social and a wonderful taco bar dinner. Sunday’s building southerly brought 15-18mph for the first race and over 20mph for the second.

Connor Godfrey dominated with two 1sts each day. Rounding out the top 5: Ched Proctor and team in 2nd, Bill Faude and team in 3rd, Jamie Allen and team in 4th, and Will Hall and team in 5th.
