🍪❤️ Baking Cookies with Love for Our Veterans! 🇺🇸

Samuel Mares Unit 8 held its annual cookie-baking marathon, turning out hundreds of dozens of homemade cookies for the veterans at the Cheyenne VA!

Department President Cathey Raymer and District Vice President Jane Simpson joined Unit 8 members, Juniors, and young Sons members for a fun-filled day of measuring, mixing, baking, and giving back.

It was a wonderful example of generations coming together to honor and support our veterans, one delicious cookie at a time!

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make this annual tradition such a sweet success! ❤️🍪🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Serving Those Who Served — Operation Stand Down in Cheyenne 🇺🇸

Saturday was a day of service and community as volunteers came together to support veterans at Operation Stand Down in Cheyenne.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 6 provided lunch for everyone attending. Volunteers also offered haircuts, and a dog groomer provided nail clipping for dogs and dog food—helping care for veterans and their four-legged companions! 🐾❤️

Thank you to Unit 6 and all who shared their time, talents, and kindness. Each act of service reminds our veterans that they are appreciated and supported.

For God and Country. 🇺🇸

Hello, everyone! 🇺🇸

I’m Debbie Niemiec, and I’m honored and excited to serve as your new American Legion Auxiliary Department of Wyoming Public Relations Chairman!

My goal is simple: to help every unit across Wyoming be seen, heard, and celebrated. 🎉

I want to share your photos and stories—past and upcoming! Whether your unit is hosting a large community event, small gathering, fundraiser, service project, or something fun for members, I want to hear about it!

Every unit has a story to tell, and every act of service matters. Big or small, your efforts make a difference and deserve to be recognized. ❤️

Please send me your photos and event information. I’ll help edit your photos and create wording that highlights your unit’s work and the difference you’re making in your community.

Don’t think, “Our event is too small,” or “Nobody would be interested.” Send it to me! Let’s celebrate it! 📸

Together, we can share the story of the American Legion Auxiliary in Wyoming—our service, friendships, communities, and the difference we make every day.

Let’s support one another and make Wyoming ALA shine! ✨ I look forward to working with all of you!
