Auditions will be held by age group to help performers feel supported and set up for success:
Ages 5–7: 10:00–11:00 AM
Ages 8–12: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Ages 13–18: 12:00–1:00 PM
Callbacks: By director’s request at 2:00 PM

STEAM Detectives Day Update!
Because the first Saturday fell right at the start of the month, we’re taking a little extra time to prep over this busy summer.

Our STEAM Detectives Day workshop has been moved to Thursday, August 15 — drop in anytime between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at the Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center.
It’s FREE and full of hands‑on fun exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math!
Perfect for ages 1 through 10 years old.

Before auditions begin, join us for our Audition Workshop to explore the characters, learn about all the amazing roles, and get comfortable with the audition process. It’s the perfect way for young performers to feel confident and excited. If you can’t make regular auditions, early auditions are available.

Join us for STEAM Saturday tomorrow!
Drop in anytime between 10 AM and 2 PM to cool off from the summer heat — we’ll have fun hands‑on activities inside the air‑conditioning and water play outside.

And if you can’t join us, here are some of the fun projects you can try at home!

🧽 SPONGE & WATER PLAY
Toddlers • Ages 1–3
Explore, squeeze, splash, and learn! This sensory station helps little ones discover how water moves and how sponges absorb.
Materials: Sponges, water bins, cups, towels

⭐ STAR PAINT & POUR
All Ages
Create a colorful star using paint‑pour art! Kids layer colors and pour to make swirling, marbled designs.

🚀 BOTTLE ROCKETS
Outdoor Launch Area
Watch your rocket blast off! Vinegar + baking soda = pressure + propulsion.
Materials: Plastic bottles, vinegar, baking soda packets, corks
Safety: Goggles required • Launch away from people

🌋 ERUPTING VOLCANO
Elephant Toothpaste Reaction
Make your own foamy lava eruption! Kids mix safe ingredients to create a bubbly chemical reaction.
Materials: Hydrogen peroxide (3%), dish soap, food coloring, yeast + warm water
STEAM Focus: Catalysts • Gas Formation • Reaction Speed

🫧 GIANT BUBBLES
Baby Pool Bubble Zone
Step inside a bubble or make giant floating shapes!

It’s going to be a hot one this weekend — cool off with STEAM Saturday!

Drop in this Saturday, July 11th for Summer Science Splash & Sparks – Red, White & STEAM! We’ll have fun hands-on activities inside the air conditioning and water play outside to keep everyone refreshed.

STEAM Saturdays happen every second Saturday of the month and are FREE workshops designed for ages 1–10. Kids can explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through unique activities and take-home projects.

Drop in anytime between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM for age‑appropriate activities.
