Radon mitigation and v***r intrusion mitigation look similar… until they don’t.

In this episode of The Indoor Environments Project, Diane Swecker sits down with Rachel Peterson and Tony McDonald to unpack what actually happens when v***r intrusion projects move from theory to the field.

From conceptual site models and pilot testing to VOC complications and verification challenges, this conversation reveals why v***r intrusion work is rarely a one-person job — and why the best projects depend on collaboration, data, and knowing the limits of your expertise.

You’ll also hear:
• Why system design in the VI world requires a very different mindset
• How verification testing can be far more complicated than radon
• Why mentors and real field experience matter for the next generation of professionals

If you work in radon, mitigation, consulting, environmental health, or redevelopment — this episode is for you.
