Dedicated to enhancing communities by creating opportunities for adults with IDD.

VISION

For individuals with developmental disabilities, we will insure they have a voice in the community, and access to person centered supports that promote independence and choice. For our families, we will serve as a support and informational network, and work cooperatively to ensure lifelong supports for their loved ones. For our community, we will promote acceptance and understanding through education, and enhance our community through opportunities for inclusive living.

🌶️🏆 Things got a little SPICY at FRIENDS!

Our annual Chili Fest was back, bringing together staff and community members for some friendly competition, delicious chili, festive tables, and plenty of fun with our Friends!

A HUGE thank you to this year's Chili Fest competitors: Jim Koontz, Nancy Thompson, Carey Smith, Ruby Hogan, Annie Green, Jamie Howard, and Rabin Walters! We appreciate each of you bringing your best recipes, creativity, and enthusiasm to make this year's celebration so special!

Prost! 🍻 to a wonderful Oktoberfest celebration last Thursday in our Social Program, complete with singing and dancing to a mix of German and American Oktoberfest songs played by Steve Rock's Tanzkapelle.

We are so grateful for our volunteers from for joining us, as well as a few friendly faces from our Besties Youth in Action Board and our BeFRIEND Young Professionals Advisory Board.

A sweet tradition with a meaningful impact!

Today, our Friends were honored to join our friends at the Knights of Columbus for their annual Tootsie Roll Drive, raising funds to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Year after year, we are grateful to stand alongside this incredible group and be part of a tradition that makes a difference. Thank you, Knights of Columbus, for your continued generosity, compassion, and commitment to impacting so many lives!

In August, we celebrated with Keira who marked four years working as the Office Assistant at Bertagnolli Dental! This is a huge accomplishment, and we are so proud of you, Keira!

A huge thank you to Jim Koontz, the expert in the breakfast burrito biz, for coming in to work with the class on cooking, constructing and taste-testing their burritos for Day Program’s Build-a-Business class!

We are looking forward to the official opening date of Burrito Bonanza on November 4th, running through the month of November on Wednesday mornings.

Our hearts are still so full after Sunday’s 21st Annual FRIENDS Variety Show: A Day in The Life!

To everyone who joined us, cheered, clapped, sang along, and celebrated our Friends, THANK YOU! Your energy, encouragement, and support made an already special day even more unforgettable.

And to our incredible Friends who took the stage, YOU were the stars of the show! Thank you for sharing your talents, personalities, and joy with all of us. We couldn’t be prouder!
