Pollinators, fireflies, and a whole lot of community spirit

Our volunteered at Baseline - Colorado / 6th Annual Bees & Blossoms Festival, leading the interactive community art station and helping neighbors light up their creativity.

After sunset, the Firefly Glow Party brought DJ sets from , and every pint poured at the b**r garden benefited ’s pollinator conservation work.

Broomfield, you really know how to celebrate!

We had such a joyful time at Broomfield Days this past Saturday—and we're still smiling thinking about it!
A huge thank you to the City and County of Broomfield - Government for putting on another wonderful celebration of our community. We know there were MANY voluteers like the Broomfield Area Chamber

The day was packed with fun: a parade lined with cheering neighbors, kids tackling an awesome physical challenge, incredible equine costumes from the Broomfield Bike Club, dogs showing off their jumping skills and the Senior Resources car show.

And what a day for our community nonprofits and service organizations!!
🥞 Rotary Club of Broomfield Crossing kicked things off with a pancake breakfast and returned that evening for a well-attended bingo at the Shelter House.
💙 We also loved seeing A Precious Child, Broomfield Arts & Humanities, Broomfield FISH, Friends of Broomfield, Sister City, The Refuge and our Youth Advisory Council connecting with residents and sharing the many ways they support Broomfielders.

Different missions. Different people. Different ways of serving.
One community.

The Broomfield Days theme, Growing Together since 1961, feels especially fitting. Because that's what we see happening all around Broomfield—people, organizations, volunteers and neighbors growing alongside one another and contributing to a community where everyone has a chance to thrive.

We hit our goal! Thanks to YOU, we've achieved the 2026 $50,000 Match Challenge on our Road to $3M!

Because of the TerHar Family's incredible generosity, our Legacy Fund has grown to $2 million — and they're matching $50,000 every year through 2030 to help us go even further. This year's match? Officially met, thanks to more generous Broomfield neighbors than we could ever name here. If that's you — thank you.

Here's why it matters: the Legacy Fund isn't spent today. It's invested for the long term, so it keeps growing and keeps showing up for Broomfield nonprofits for generations. Since 2000, Broomfield Community Foundation has granted $7.8 million right back into this community, and the Legacy Fund is how we keep that going.

Look for the next challenge in 2027 — and thank you for being part of the journey to $3M.

Congratulations to John and Beth Bosio, our 2026 Broomfield Days Parade Marshals!

This couple has given so much to Broomfield, as individuals and together. John founded Anchor House to provide housing for at-risk youth, and has spent years with Habitat for Humanity and coaching local youth sports. Beth served as president of the Broomfield Community Foundation's board and founded Student Leadership Broomfield. On top of all that, they've run a local business together for more than 35 years and were previously honored with the Heart of Broomfield Award for Philanthropy.

As part of our Spring 2026 Heart of Broomfield Awards program, celebrating 25 years of programming, the Broomfield Enterprise is featuring past honorees like John and Beth and the impact they've made through service, generosity, and community leadership.

Their story is exactly the spirit the Heart of Broomfield Awards were created to celebrate.

Your perspective could help make a difference in Broomfield.
Where should community funding go to make the greatest impact?

We’re looking for 40+ Broomfield community members to join the Broomfield Community Foundation’s Human Services Grant Committee and help answer that question.

As a committee member, you’ll review grant applications from local human service organizations, learn more about the needs facing our community, and help recommend how funding can best support the people who need it most.
And the commitment is short: reading & scroring applications from home and participating in just one or two meetings.

You don’t need to be a grant expert. We’re looking for people who bring curiosity, compassion and different perspectives to the table.

If you care about Broomfield and want to play a hands-on role in strengthening our community, we’d love to have you join us.
