S'mores, archery, hikes, lily pads, swims, and songs... no wonder the Day Campers were tired, they had a full day of outdoor fun at Mashipacong! Visiting our overnight camp site for the day is always a fun adventure for our youngest campers.

Overnight Camp had lots of memorable moments but one that stands out is Session 3’s Paella Night! Spanish Pavillion, which is owned by two Trail Blazers camper parents, came out to camp to treat campers and staff to a delectable meal! Did you know that this family-owned restaurant was the first Spanish restaurant in New Jersey? We are very grateful for all they have done to make camp special and invite you to join us in showing them some love. Thank you Fernandez family!

Water Day Campers up to this week? We’re going to “Go with the Flow”! Whalecome to our water ecology week. It’d be cray-sea naut to seas the opport-tuna-ty to explore our city’s wetland habitat. We’ll be happy as clams as we dive deep to learn all aboat the organisms in our city’s Watercourse and how they interact with one another. And, it’s o-fish-ial, we’ll be shore to make a splash at the end of the week’s fin-tastic “Pop up Beach Bash”!

Next week, we’ll wrap the summer with our final theme, “Stronger Together.” Stay tuned for Day Campers’ community service stewardship projects!

Double ! Last Friday, Day Camp ended their outdoor survival skills themed week with our “Can You Survive the Parktacular Park?” party! Does that sign look familiar? ECO Explorer Day Campers made a visit to Jones Beach, thanks to NY State Parks & Historic Sites! Day Campers are on the move! 🥾🥾🥾 At Mashipacong, we challenged ourselves on the ropes courses and snacked on freshly roasted s'mores. We also visited the Park Rangers at Brooklyn's Marine Park Alliance to learn about our local ecosystem and enjoy the outdoors.
