As the cost of living continues to rise and the need for support in our community grows, we are reminded more than ever that God calls us to care for one another and to be the hands and feet of Christ in times of need. We want to take a moment to thank everyone who helps support Hope Market and the greater mission of serving those facing food insecurity.
We are deeply grateful for the The Sparta Community Food Pantry, Valerie, and all of her faithful volunteers. Valerie not only runs a food pantry but also strengthens and supports other pantries and organizations, helping reach thousands of families each month. Her work is a true reflection of servant-hearted leadership.
We also thank LocalShare for the incredible work they do in providing fresh produce to countless pantries and organizations throughout Sussex and Warren County. Their generosity helps bring nourishment and hope to so many.
A special thank you to our chefs, Doug and Ed, who prepare restaurant-quality meals that are distributed throughout Sussex County. Through their gifts, they are feeding both body and soul with dignity and care.
We are also grateful for Matt from Sheep-2-Shepherds, who faithfully rescues and distributes thousands of pounds of food each week. His work is a powerful reminder that nothing is wasted in God’s hands when it is given back in service.
And to Carlos Alfaro, who not only rescues and distributes food every week but also demonstrated to us at Hope Market how one person, walking in obedience and compassion, can make a lasting impact.
We thank God for each of you. Together, through faith, service, and love, we are witnessing what it means to bring hope, provision, and light into our community.
