Hey what’s goin on family, it’s ya boy Domo and I gotta put you on!

So I was out in Brownsville, Brooklyn, checking out this apartment for one of my clients, and I figured I’d show y’all what $2,400 a month is getting you out here.

Now this is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment over on 305 Chester Street.

And I ain’t gon lie, the crib is pretty spacious! You got a nice amount of closet space, plenty of kitchen cabinets, and the master bedroom even got its own private bathroom.

The building itself was clean, and they got a laundry room too.

Now you do gotta pay your own electricity, so that’s another expense to consider.

Location-wise, you’re right by the Livonia train station, and Betsy Head Park is nearby.

The building is managed by C&C Management, and I’m not sure if they got any more vacancies.

But here’s what I wanna know from y’all.

For $2,400 a month, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, in Brownsville, Brooklyn. You think this is worth the price? Or they asking for too much?

Cleaning up East New York one 311 at a time.

We got this blocked cleaned up but people said the weeds need to be cut. So I went back & put in another 311.

Wells now look at the block ! Got a nice dark Caesar cut !

Hopefully this discourages dumping.

🚨 MORE ACCESS HRA UPDATES

HEAP: If you’re denied, you can now submit a new application through ACCESS HRA.

SNAP: The mobile app now gives eligible clients information about ABAWD work requirements + next steps.

IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS: SNAP and Cash Assistance applicants/recipients have the right to an in-center interview, including face-to-face, regardless of how they applied or recertified.

HRA NOTICES: You’ll now get an alert whenever HRA sends you a notice even if you’re not enrolled in Paperless.

📱 PAPERLESS: You won’t automatically be unenrolled just because you didn’t open an e-notice within 30 days.

ACCESS HRA:
nyc.gov/accesshra

Save this + send it to somebody who uses HRA benefits.

🚨 CITYFHEPS UPDATE

You can now track your CityFHEPS application through ACCESS HRA.

You may see:
- Being reviewed
- Needs your attention
- Final decision

IMPORTANT: Even if SNAP, Cash Assistance or HEAP is already connected, you still have to connect your CityFHEPS case separately.

Go to Connect Account / Find My Case and use your CityFHEPS case number.

Your housing specialist or case manager cannot do this step for you.

This does NOT mean you can apply for CityFHEPS yourself through ACCESS HRA; you need an application already on file.

I ain’t gon’ lie, I saw a couple things I could’ve took home 😭 but nah, we deserve clean blocks too.

Saw it. Reported it to 311. Now let’s see how long it takes to get cleaned up 👀
