BHSA Parent Association The BHSA Parent Association supports the staff and students of Brooklyn High School of the Arts.

The BHSA Parent Association is a 501c3 organization whose primary purpose is to support the staff and students of Brooklyn High School of the Arts located in Brooklyn, NY. The BHSA Parent Association’s vision and mission is to develop and cultivate a strong partnership between the BHSA parent community and school administration. The BHSA Parent Association works to engage and empower parents and g

uardians to advocate for students by being active participants in the school community

A few of our fundraising goals for the 2023-2024 school year:
* Fund student activities and enrichment
* Support BHSA studio requests in collaboration with the school administration
* Finance production and supply costs for all drama and musical productions, along with art, dance, and concert shows
* Support parent engagement and community building

Come to meetings! We generally meet every third Wednesday of the month (pending other school or DOE calendar events are cleared.) Our meetings are held in virtual and/or hybrid (virtual/in-person) settings. Volunteer:
Being an active member of the BHSA Parent Association is a great way to network with other parents, learn what is happening at our school and just have fun while helping with our goals! The needs of the Parent Association vary throughout the year pending on events and committee goals. Thanks to everyone who came out for and bid on our 2026 Spring Gala & Auction. Not only did we have a fantastic time but we raised $10K! Special thank you to our sponsors , , and for hosting, feeding and keeping us hydrated! And last but not least, this wouldn’t have been a success without our parent fundraising committee who worked long and hard putting this celebration together! Can’t wait to do this again next year!

Parent Association was at the Spring Concerts this week. We had a great time meeting all the parents attending the concerts and loved hearing your students perform.
