The BHSA Parent Association is a 501c3 organization whose primary purpose is to support the staff and students of Brooklyn High School of the Arts located in Brooklyn, NY. A few of our fundraising goals for the 2023-2024 school year:
* Fund student activities and enrichment
* Support BHSA studio requests in collaboration with the school administration
* Finance production and supply costs for all drama and musical productions, along with art, dance, and concert shows
* Support parent engagement and community building
Come to meetings! We generally meet every third Wednesday of the month (pending other school or DOE calendar events are cleared.) Our meetings are held in virtual and/or hybrid (virtual/in-person) settings. Being an active member of the BHSA Parent Association is a great way to network with other parents, learn what is happening at our school and just have fun while helping with our goals! The needs of the Parent Association vary throughout the year pending on events and committee goals.
