Hello from your Medary PTA!
The 2026–2027 school year is off to a great start, and we wanted to take a minute to share what the PTA is all about.

What is PTA?�
The Parent Teacher Association is a group of parents, staff, and community members working together to support our school and students.

What do we do?�
We raise funds to provide classroom supplies, staff meals and treats, support school needs, and host fun events for Medary families.

What can you expect this year?�
Homecoming Spirit, Book Fairs, Bingo Night, Fall Family Night, and other activities throughout the year.

Want to get involved?�
We’d love to have you become a member! Click the link to join or come meet us at our first meeting on September 15th at 4:00 PM in the Community Room.

Not ready to become a member but still want to help? That’s perfectly fine! We’ll share volunteer opportunities throughout the year. We would love to support businesses within our Medary family as well.

Welcome Mrs Bolstad!

The Brookings School District is pleased to announce the selection of Brianne Bolstad as the new Principal of Medary Elementary School, beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.

Mrs. Bolstad brings a strong background of service within the district and most recently has served as the Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) at Dakota Prairie Elementary School.

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Bolstad on her new role!
