How many times have you said “I could write a book” after a particularly interesting day in HR? While many folks in HR take their experience to write a “how to” book, Dr. Melanie Peacock decided to do something different: she wrote a murder-mystery book with the main character as an HR professional!
In “HR Can Be Murder“, Melanie tells the story of Tabitha Martin who starts a new job as an HR professional in a law firm and soon finds herself in the middle of a murder that happens in the office. As events unfold, and with the help of her inquisitive nature and attention to detail, Tasha begins to piece together the mystery of who killed her workplace friend, placing her own life in danger. Along the way, she goes on a journey of self-discovery, leading her to understand the value of friends, family, and even love – with someone she least expects.
Join us for a virtual discussion May 7 at Noon. We'll talk about the book and learn a little bit of Melanie’s experience and how and why she decided to write a book. All attendees will be entered in a drawing for a free copy of her book!
Invite your mystery loving friends!
