I am sad to share with you all that Kristen Schlobohm passed away yesterday. For the past 49 years, Kristen has been a valued member of the Advance family. We are grateful for the time we had with her and will miss her. Please remember Kristen’s family, friends, and the many staff members who supported her over the years in your thoughts and prayers.

Visitation will be this Thursday (August 27th) at Rude’s Funeral Home from 4pm to 6pm. A memorial/funeral service will then start at 6pm.

We recently learned of Keith Davidson's passing. He lived at Advance for several years before moving to Huron in 2022. He was such a kind and positive person, and a friend to everyone he met.

We were very saddened to learn of the passing of Morgan Markve this week. Morgan lived in Brookings at Advance for 34 years before moving to Watertown last year to be closer to her family. We will miss her laughter, smile, and that ever-present sparkle in her eyes. Please keep her family, friends, and all the staff who were touched by her life over the years in your thoughts and prayers.

It is with a sad heart that we are letting you all know that Arley Larson passed away late last week. Arley had been with Advance for almost 22 years, during which time he made numerous friends and touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed.
