🎭✨ Hear ye, hear ye — a new chapter begins! ✨🎭

It’s official — we’ve rebranded, and we’re ready to tell our tale!
📜 Brookings Area Roller Derby (BARD) has arrived!

That’s right — we’re rolling into a new era, complete with two epic teams:
💥 Heartland Havoc — our fierce, competitive travel team bringing the ruckus wherever the track takes us!
🌪️ Midwest Mayhem — our local game, competitive recreational development team, where rising stars sharpen their skills and keep the regional rivalries rolling.

You’ll see a bit of overlap between our rosters (we’re still building our cast of characters), but this setup lets us keep playing the amazing local leagues we love — and make those matchups a little more evenly matched. Let’s just say… our story’s been a bit one-sided lately, so we’re mixing it up to keep things fun, fair, and full of derby spirit!

Same skaters, same heart, new name — and a brand-new story to tell. 💪🛼

We couldn’t have asked for a more epic way to wrap up the Maidens’ 2025 season! HUGE shoutout and massive gratitude to the incredible BisMan Bombshellz Roller Derby for an absolute banger of a bout! 💥

Final score: 136–137 – just one point separating us in a neck-and-neck battle to the final whistle! 💀🛼

Bisman, you brought the heat, the heart, and the hits. Your team’s skill, sportsmanship, and amazing camaraderie made this game unforgettable. We’re honored to share the track with such phenomenal athletes and even better humans. 💙💪
