As an open-intake county shelter, we take in every animal that comes through our doors — including livestock. While we’re fortunate to have rescue partners who can often step in quickly for farm animals, these particular sheep and goats are part of an active court case and cannot be placed at this time.
Right now, we urgently need hay and halters as we care for these animals and prepare them for eventual foster placement, which may take some time. Our Amazon wishlist has been recently updated with the specific supplies we need most and is linked below:

Please note: hay is our greatest and most immediate need, but unfortunately it cannot be purchased through Amazon.
We are incredibly grateful for the support our community continues to show us and the animals in our care. Whether they have hooves or paws, eat hay or kibble, every single animal deserves safety, compassion, and a chance — and because of your support, we’re able to provide that care.
If you’re unable to donate these specific items, monetary donations of any kind are always appreciated and help us continue saying “yes” to every animal that needs us.
Edit to add: Due to the condition of these animals, our vet recommends a mix of 50% alfalfa, and 50% grass hay (either orchard or timothy). Thank you in advance!
