⚙️ At last week's Brookhaven Rotary Club meeting, we welcomed District 6900 Governor-Elect Buck Buchanan. Buck shared his experiences as a Rotarian and author. He even gifted us some copies of his book, The Game of Sales.🌟🌟

⚙️ We also welcomed Kevin Paul Gouldmann as he visited from the Rotary Club of Shanghai. ⛩️ We exchanged club banners with Kevin.

We invite you to come and visit a club meeting. Brookhaven Rotary Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 6 pm. We host meetings in historic Hearst Hall on the campus of Oglethorpe University.

Brookhaven Rotarians had a busy day last Saturday. We are people of action, and we love supporting community services.

Elizabeth, Linda, and Jennifer worked with dozens of Rotarians at the annual FODAC Equipment Drive.

Bo and Bill manned the Suthers Food Drive booth at the Brookhaven Farmers Market.

SUPPORT SUTHERS FOOD PANTRY!

This Saturday, the Brookhaven Rotary Club will host a Suthers 2nd Saturday booth at the Brookhaven Farmer’s Market. We invite the Brookhaven community and farmer’s market shoppers to bring items for the pantry.

Food pantries like Brookhaven’s Suthers Center for Christian Outreach serve as a lifeline for many families in our community. For Suthers Pantry, the struggle to stay adequately stocked with shelf-stable food items is an ongoing challenge.

Suggested items (no glass containers, please): fresh fruit, canned fruit & vegetables, Vienna sausage or other canned meats, peanut butter, pasta or rice, pasta sauce in plastic jars, instant oatmeal and grits, small boxes of cereal, personal hygiene itens.

⚙️⚙️⚙️ We unite for good in Brookhaven! ⚙️⚙️⚙️
At our last meeting, we welcomed Diana Hofsommer and Jeffri Epps from Peachtree Creek Greenway. Brookhaven Rotary Club awarded the group a $1000 Community Grant. This all-volunteer group is working hard to develop the paved path which will unite the city of Atlanta with cities through to Gwinnett County.

Brookhaven Rotary Club members also volunteer at clean-up days along the path. We're committed to supporting all aspects of life in Brookhaven.

On Saturday morning, you brought a great load of food items for Suthers Center Pantry. On the first Suthers Second Saturday Food Drive, you helped us fill 5 cases of canned goods and fresh vegetables.
Our club will be back at the Farmers Market holding another Food Drive on August 8.
