A historic moment for Nigeria and a proud moment for the Igbo community. We celebrate Prof. Obi Davies-Ekwenna, an Igbo son and accomplished urologist, who was part of the team behind Nigeria’s first tele-robotic surgery.

This groundbreaking achievement, carried out in collaboration with Redeemer’s Health Village, RoboMed Global and Nisa Premier Hospital, represents an important step forward in expanding access to advanced surgical care in Nigeria.
