Dear Ashford Park Staff and Community,
As many of you have already seen, the DeKalb County School District has released the first set of scenarios as part of the Student Assignment Project (SAP). It is important to emphasize that these scenarios are preliminary and represent the beginning of a collaborative conversation and process—not a final recommendation or decision.
The following website will keep you updated on all things associated with the SAP process:

Transparency and community partnership are essential as we move forward. The SAP process is designed to gather input, and I strongly encourage families and staff to participate in community meetings, including the meeting on February 26 at Cross Keys High School, as well as to thoughtfully complete the SAP Feedback Survey (please note the survey can only be submitted once). Every voice matters, and collective engagement is critical in shaping the outcomes ahead.
To ensure families are not forced to choose between opportunities for engagement, we will reschedule our previously planned Ashford Park ES Math Night at Publix Town Brookhaven, which conflicts with the February 26 community meeting. We want to support full participation in both school and district-level conversations.
We are committed to keeping lines of communication open and to working together as a school community throughout this process. Please stay tuned for additional updates as more information becomes available, and thank you for your continued collaboration, support, and advocacy for Ashford Park.
Have a great evening,
Matt Rogers
