🚒 Future firefighters in training!

Children at the Head Start Community Program of Morris County had an exciting visit from their local firefighters! From learning about fire safety to meeting real-life community heroes, it was a day filled with curiosity, excitement, and plenty of smiles.

A big thank you to the local firefighters for taking the time to inspire these young learners and for all they do to keep our communities safe! ❤️

🚗 Keeping little passengers safe, one car seat at a time!

The Head Start Community Program of Morris County recently hosted a Car Seat Safety Event, organized by their Early Head Start Home-Based Visitors, to help families feel confident about their children's safety on the road.

With support from Safe Kids Northern New Jersey and the Town of Dover Police Department, families received hands-on car seat inspections, installation assistance, and valuable safety resources from certified technicians.

👏 A wonderful example of community partnerships making a difference for children and families!

💜 Together, we stand for safe families and healthy homes.

In recognition of October's Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Family Services team at the Head Start Community Program of Morris County created a special informational display to raise awareness, share important resources, and show support for families in their community.

Every child and family deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. Thank you to the Morris County team for helping bring awareness to this important issue!

A few days well spent in Washington, D.C.!

Head Start leaders from across the country came together for the NHSA Fall Leadership Institute to learn, connect, advocate, and make sure the voices of Head Start children, families, and programs are heard.

From conversations on Capitol Hill to connecting with fellow Head Start advocates, it was a powerful reminder of what can happen when our community comes together with a shared purpose.

Thank you to the National Head Start Association for bringing Head Start leaders together and continuing to champion the important work happening in communities every day.
