Our annual eye screening at Maurice River Township School was a great success. We screened 330 students in 3.5 hours. Lois Kelly did an outstanding job with coordinating the event and working with Claire Walton to handle a third of our student screenings. John Simons and Al Laubsch handled the camera for our team and members of the Wildwood Lions Club did likewise for their portion of students screened.
And of course school nurse Leslie Daigle was outstanding, as always. In addition to providing printed lists of the students for all three camera/intake teams, she had 330 individual name tags for students to hand to us when they sat down for their examinations. That really facilitated our efficient and successful completion of the screenings.
