We are very sorry to announce that the MSA NJ Conference scheduled for Sept. 27 must be rescheduled due to the Nor’easter impacting our area this weekend. Watch for updates.

We have been closely monitoring the situation, but the decision is now beyond our own concerns for everyone’s safety. A state of emergency has been declared in the county where our venue is located, as well as in surrounding areas. High winds and flooding are expected, and strict travel advisories are in effect beginning this evening and continuing through Sunday.

Unfortunately, converting the conference to a livestream-only event is not a viable option due to the potential for power and internet outages, along with several other logistical factors.

A man from Michigan diagnosed with MSA-- planning a charity bike ride to help raise awareness and money for the cause.

ATH434 is planned to go into phase 3 trial end of this year. ATH434 is in the fast track and has orphan drug designation-- meant to treat MSA and targets iron molecules meant to restore balance in the brain.

The FDA has confirmed Alterity Therapeutics' Phase 3 development strategy for ATH434 in multiple system atrophy, agreeing that one pivotal trial supported by Phase 2 confirmatory evidence could support a future NDA. Phase 3 enrollment is expected to begin by the end of 2026.
