Our own… Taviaus Wilson ‼️💙
Meet UAG's Re-Vision team! These six amazing individuals have made UAG's Revision Initiative the successful, effective program that it is today. These women & men are mentors, role models, advocates, and much more for the youth they serve. They spend time with kids, breaking down barriers to their success and connecting them with resources to help them progress beyond past mistakes. They are heroes to all of us at UAG!
Our Re-Vision Project provides advocacy, mentoring, and support to at-risk youth ages 12-18 and their families. The project supports youth to become successful members of our community, while reducing the impact of cyclical victimization. Many of the youth we serve have been victims of abuse, neglect, addiction, mental illness, bullying, and the result of their trauma often leads to negative behavior. Through education, positive mentoring, goal setting, connection to community resources, and building a stronger framework for families, Re-Vision creates alternative perspectives and pathways for youth to establish new patterns in their lives. We help youth turn their dreams for a positive future into their reality through:
One-on-One Coaching
Educational Advocacy
Employment / Job Readiness
Assistance Navigating Juvenile Justice System
Intentional Mentoring
Life Skills
College or Career Coaching
Connection to Resources
Financial Education
Building Positive Support Network
Positive Outings
